Sam smiled at Teenah and headed for the replicator. She had a favorite chocolate she wanted to share with the others. It wasn't quite the same as what she could buy on Vulcan, but for this occasion, it would do fine. She came back with a large tray of Betazoid chocolate truffles and set it on a counter with the other food.

Tallas walked into the room, followed by her mother Thy'las. Tallas was ecstatic. She enjoyed parties and was so happy for Damion. She couldn't wait to see the baby and be the one to introduce her to Baby's First Calf-Pow. Tallas wasn't sure how much she would be involved in Baby Wolfe's life, but she was definitely gonna enjoy stopping by the office more often and to ask to see baby pictures.

Thy'las, on the other hand, seemed very out of place. Aside from her daughter, whom she only just reconnected with, she didn't know that many people on board. She knew Damion from her time on the Nightstar and Ronnie from when she came onboard to help arrest Stryfe, but no one else beyond that point. Not to mention, she was still considered a prisoner and had no idea how long she had on board the Calypso.

Kela walked in dressed in a long, and form fitting, red dress. She carried a small gift with her for the baby. The Trill eased her way passed the two Andorian's and looked around to see who was in attendance. "Excuse me, Poindexter." She said softly and with a smile as she looked back to Tallas and her mother. "Just surveying the territory, Kiddo."

"You don't have to do that, Kela. So far, its all women." Tallas replied with a smirk.

"Hey." Kela replied with a smile. "One always wants to know who is at a party. It's never too late to network. And besides, I was man in one of my past lives, so it also helps to look hot." He added a giggle before looking over to Thy'las. "I see you let your mom out of her quarters."

Tallas gave Kela a playful dirty look before sticking her tongue out and adding. "She was invited. Her and Damion have history, you know."

"I know. I know, Kid. Don't get all defensive. I was only asking." Kela gave Thy'las a smile and a nod of her head before looking back to Tallas. "So, what did you get the baby?"

"Only the best gift ever." Tallas replied with an excited look as she picked up the quickly wrapped stuffed animal. "Sammy the Silly Sehlat." She let out a giggled before giving the wrapped gift a squeeze. A deep giggle, followed by a fart noise, came out of the bag. Tallas giggled again and added. "Isn't that awesome."

Kela let out a laugh before saying in a low voice. "Damion and Ronnie are going to kill you."

"Shut up." Tallas said with a smirk before adding. "How about you? What did you get?"

Kela smiled and replied. "Nothing that will keep everyone up all night. That's for sure." She looked back to the others and gave Tallas a slight wave before walking away while saying. "You'll just have to wait and find out."

Thy'las raised a brow and looked over to Tallas before whispering softly. "Can I punch her in the face?"

"Don't worry about her mom. Kela mean's well once you get to know her. The Baby is gonna love my gift." Tallas added before taking her mothers hand and leading her further into the room. "Come on."

Ronnie was officially on maternity leave, but she still wanted to keep involved in science so she didn't go stir crazy. So, when she was asked to help Illise, she jumped at the chance. Since the baby didn't roll yet, a blanket on the floor was more than sufficient to keep Elsa safe.

Damion offered to take the baby with him, but as Ronnie was nursing and there were more places for a baby to curl up in science than security, she was now quickly making her way to the lab, Elsa in one arm and her over-sized diaper bag draped over the other. The door opened and she took one step inside before she realized the lab was full of people. "Excuse me," she started, then stopped, looking around at everyone.

The holographic SURPRISE flashed just moments after Ronnie entered and Illise quickly turned to face her guest-of-honor.

"Surprise!" Illise echoed the sign. "It's a baby shower! You didn't really think I called you here for work, did you?" She grinned widely.

Damion said "Surprise." softly into Ronnie's ear before adding. "Just so you know, if things go bad, I claim no responsibility."

Well, Ronnie had hoped to do some work, but now she just grinned in surprised pleasure. "Really? Wow. I don't know what to say but thank you."

She turned to Damion and grinned. He had kept the secret so well she had no idea.

"Oh my goodness what a lovely child." Spartacus moved closer to the young woman. "And what is her name?" She winked. "I am sorry , I am Spartacus , counselor and one who loves little ones as they are so innocent in their auras."

Truth be known, Spartacus liked to hold babies not only for their natural cute factor but also when touching them she tends to focus on the one she touches and tunes out others. Babies were so innocent it was almost as soothing for the Orion as the baby she rocked.

"Elsa," Ronnie said. "Elsa Constance. She's named after her grandmothers." She found a spot to put the diaper bag and cuddled her baby close as she looked around the room, impressed at everything she saw. "Wow," she repeated.

Rhiannon set her ice cream down and wiped off her hands.

"Wanna go see the baby?" she said to Veronica. "Come on! Babies don't do much other than drink mother's milk or formula and excrete, but they look cute so adults put up with them."

She headed over to Ronnie and Elsa.

"Ronnie!" Rhiannon said. "The baby's adorable! I so mad I wasn't on shift when she arrived! Oh, well."

Ronnie smiled fondly at Elsa. "Thank you. I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to see her."

Rhiannon turned out to the other women present.

"Can you all spread the word among the guys that one of them needs to knock someone up as soon as possible so I can help deliver a baby?" she asked with huge grin to show she was kidding.

Ronnie just shook her head and chuckled.

Illise rolled her eyes at the comment and tried not o blush. She was not particularly prudish - how could one be spending as much time with Klingons as she had - but it was different hearing it from a Starfleet officer. She cleared her throat to get the attention of the new parents and assembled guests.

"It is traditional on Earth to celebrate the arrival of a new baby with the gathering of friends to eat, play games and load up the new parents with stuff!" Her smile was playful. "We have all of those!"

"This is...wonderful," Ronnie said, grabbing Damion's hand and squeezing it with her free one. "What do you want to do first?" she asked Illise.

Illise looked around. "Well, I think that we would all like to have some refreshments. I highly recommend the punch," she looked over at the chemistry set, "and enjoy the snacks. I'll bring out the games. Mingle, meet Elsa and enjoy yourselves!" Illise walked over to her office where she had put the games she had prepared. She grabbed the box of diapers first. It wasn't exactly a game, but it would be fun.
