=^= Newmark here, I will get my bag and be your location directly.=^= The reply came from the ship, the slight background noise from the Sick Bay equipment he was using could be heard. =^= Three minutes ma'am.=^= Newmark vowed knowing how many steps it was to the transporter.

Spartacus was reading things from the Would be King; maybe the King of the moment and in her observations she was a smugness that almost startled her. The glint in his eye sent a shiver down her spine; she knew that look well. The Damon had that look of cunning; like the man who had the edge in teh business deal and could throw in an evil trump if needed, he had a plan in motion and the demeanor showed his plan was going as he wished ... maybe even better?
*Fate and Destiny.... not good...* Spartacus thought to herself and did not realize she thought aloud.
"Agreed," Sam replied telepathically.
It took all of her experiance with the Diplo Corps not to shake her head clear, she was here representing the interests of the Federation and WHile the subtle mannerisms of the King startled her what she got off Tate was scaring her. This was classic symptoms of Hostage behqavior and Tate was taking even that a step farther. There are groups of extremists that 'recruit' people through various means and despite the short time Tate seemed to have some feelings of loyalty towards the King; she held him in high esteem and even without her heritage Spartacus could see that.
Why do i sense impending doom with Tate? Or am I going a bit over board? Spartacus asked Samantha.
"I don't think it's that bad," Sam replied telepathically. "Not yet, anyway. It's up to us to not let it get that far."
Keelan gave that diplomatic smile that was called for when interacting with people who are not yet on the friendly terms; the Commadore had reservations and shock from what the Lady Jennifer was doing. How she had taken an emotional bond to Keelan. She was a remarkable example for a woman in his eyes; just the kind of 'Lady' he could find favor with for many reasons.
"I will have Ishton escort your Doctor to the examination Room when he arrives." Keelan need only raise a hand to call teh man forth.
"Thank you," Sam said.
It was about then that the Blue light of a transporter brought Doctor Newmark to the surface. HE had on his uniform that still looked well kept, the Medical case over his shoulder as he glanced about after solidifying.
"Sorry for the delay Ma'am." Newmark said. "I am a little out of practice on the field deployment." He wanted to curse himself as at one time in his life a long time ago he would have been here sooner in his mind. "Where can I be of help?"
"You're fine," Sam assured him. "We have permission to examine King Mrowen's body to verify how he was murdered." She waved a hand to indicate Keelan. "You will be escorted to the body. Record everything and confirm the cause of death."
"At least he will not say the stethisscope is cold." Newmark commented and saw the one large gentleman who had locked eyes with Newmark in an attempt to stare him down.
The large bulk of a man obviously knew his prowess and how the intimidation worked well backed by his size. Newmark locked eyes with the man and did nto flinch away but kept his gaze to match the man's. Newmark had been here many times in his past and knew well ; not only by his medical knowledge, where to hit a man and how to hit him. It was a trait that Newmark had given up in practice years ago, but the little rebellious side of him did not back down.
Spartacus felt something in the Doctor; a slight spike in his emotional balance, it was a new sensation as the guard tried to do some male tetestarone thing with the Doctor. A man that Spartacus had spoken with many time since they are both medical and he was usually so passive; not even raising his voice to her knowledge, and now there was a lythe aggression in him, his aura was a mix of purple and crimson, honor and the ability to be voilent. There is a killer instinct in the doctor and it was rearing to the surface.
"Time is wasting."Newmark told the guard. "Lead the way." He tilt his head slightly but never looked away.
The guard broke the exchange and headed in a directon; Newmark followed along with a sly grin on his face.
*You think the Doc will be all right Samantha?* Spartacus asked.
"I hope so, Teenah. I hope so," Sam replied.
They waited while Doctor Newmark scanned the body and gathered the readings he would need.
"Thank you, your highness," Sam said, not liking the fact that she had to use that honorific with Keelan. "We will have our final report to you shortly."
She tapped her combadge. "York to Calypso, the away team is ready to beam back to the ship."
