lieutenant John Sheridan stepped off the Shuttle holding the hand of his six year old Son Max. They hadn't walked very far when John saw Captain Gordon Hatcher and his wife Donna waving at him. After getting through the gate Max ran for the Captain and jumped into his arms, "Uncle Gordy I'm in space." John and the others laughed. John shook Hatcher's hand and hugged Donna, "Great to see you guys, been a long trip." Captain Hatcher smiled and. "Good to have you back in the Fleet kid, come on we have you all set up at our place."

Max was amazed at the size of Jupiter Station and after several hours of sleep was raring to go see all of it, Dad on the other hand was worn down and needed some peace. Gordon Hatcher was John's Commanding Officer while he was stationed at Starbase Protector. They had a close bond as John Was Gorgons Wingman. The Hatcher's knew the Sheridan's well and Attended John's wedding to Max's Mother. They arrived at the Captains quarters and ate a wonderful meal,Donna took Max to the Children's creche to burn some energy while John and Gordon sat back after dinner.

Gordon handed John Three fingers of Bourbon,"Sure good to see you guys, It's been Two years now. Max is getting big, and heavy." John took a drink, "Thanks, I think this will be a good place for both of us. I'll actually have more time to spend with him On a Ship than teaching pilots to fly."
Hatcher sat down"You wouldn't have recognized that ship of yours Two weeks ago, she barely made it in here. Unbelievable what those people have done with it." John was excited about the Orion, "I'll have to talk a look at her after I get cleaned up and get our stuff stowed away. he finished his drink and grabbed their bags in the hall, The Hatcher's had set up a guest bedroom up in the Captains den that had plenty of room for the both of them. John was very impressed with the Captains quarters, "Are you sure this won't be a problem?" Gordon Laughed. "When Donna heard you and Max were on your way here she booted me outta here in ten seconds flat."

Captain Hatcher punched John in the shoulder, "It's good to see ya , you get squared away and we'll check out your ship." John smiled, thanks again skipper."
