Drani sat in her office, staring intently at the screen of her computer monitor that slid up out of her desk. The Commodore had wanted to see if there were differences between the Qunari and the Jenefarians. She drummed her fingers on the top of the desk as she looked over what information was sent to them from the Jenefarian Medical Administration. The information didn't make sense to what DNA samples Starfleet Medical had on file of the Jenefarians. Something was off. "Computer, run a neurosequence scan of both sets of DNA strands and match it against Starfleet Medical Records."

"Initiating scan," came the computer's voice.

A moment later the computer's voice sounded again. " Scan complete. There is a .02 deviation in the nucleotide formation."

"Odd. Computer, what is the deviation?"

"Deviation is of junk DNA and does not specify to normal junk DNA nucleotide formation."

"Computer, is this deviation natural?" Drani asked, leaning forward on her desk.

"Negative. The deviation is artificial."

"Computer, restructure the DNA by eliminating the junk DNA and rescan."

A minute later the computer spoke up again. "Scan complete. Both DNA samples contain the same amount of nucleotides. They are a match."

"I'll be damned," Drani said as she stood from her desk.

"Dr. Drani to Commander Munich and It. Cross," Drani said as she tapped her communicator. "I've completed my diagnosis of the DNA samples of the Jenefarians and the Qunari. They're the same species."

=^=Munich here.=^= The strong German voice came across. =^= You are saying that two people on this planet have the same racial traits and are of the same people despite what impressions we have?=^= He asked. =^= Doc-tor, I will alert the Commadore at vonce."

Munich went from the Bridge to the REady Room; ringing teh chime and with his standard Military parede type strides when he is most serious and tends to fall back to when under stress from his upbringing he entered.

"Commodore Tank you for seeing me." Munich began. "I have been informed from the Goot Doctor that the Jeniffrans and athe Qunari have been confirmed as the same race through DNA testing by the Medical department ma'am." He managed not to click his heels together but stood attention. "SIgnificant news as we were not aware of dis before."

"Excellent," Sam replied, smiling at her Acting XO. "That's what I hoped to hear. Is there any other news?"

"The investigations we are doing appear to be going along well; no one hindering and when asked the Jenefrans are helpful. There is nothing conclusive but such a neat escape without many clues does seem... unlikely to have been so well executed on da fly you might say. This seems planned and almost perfect kidnapping?"

"Too perfect?" Sam asked. "As in, it was an inside job?"

"From what the Away team is feeding us for information." Munich began. "The Garden was very prestine, it was well manicured." He pointed out. "WHat kind of a kidnapping leavesw no traces in a place like a garden where a path used to exit would be covered by greenery?" He posed the question. "Either the Gardeners are covering or it was so precise that the abductors left no real trace of their exit and defiently a lack of evidence from a struggle. Was she attacked elsewhere and carried through the garden or ..." He shrugged.

"That's what I'd like to know," Sam said. "Contact our people on the planet. I want to recreate the palace and gardens on the holodeck so we can test our theories. I also want everything they find so we can pth that into the program as well. Dedicate one holodeck to this until we find the Princess."

"Right away Ma'am." Munich said as he was gettign ready to move. "I will inform the chief that we are going to do the investigation while making preparations also." Munich was trying to cover the bases. "Holodeck four is the lest used I can clear it and rearrange the schedules to give us the time we need."

"That will be fine. Thank you," Sam said, nodding. "Let me know when you have everything set up."

"Yes Commadore." Munich said before neatly turning on his heels military style and headed out the door.
