The Detachment has been placed on 12 hrs notice to move. Sam came around last night and we got in touch with her mum. Mum was very emotional but I managed to assure her I would keep Sam and Bella safe. Sam stayed for awhile and we chatted over some fried chicken and cold beer.

She slept on the couch but was gone by the time Bella and I headed off to the Mess Hall for breakfast.
