| Physical Description | Shinga is a physically attractive woman, like most of her species. Her body shape lends to arousal in males, but this is again normal for a female Orion. She wears the standard Starfleet uniform that fully covers her body, so the men don't get distracted. Also so she can be within regulation. She wears her hair in a slicked back bun, formal, trendy, and not easy to hit with a disruptor or phaser. | General Overview | Shinga Thrax is in many ways your typical Orion woman. She knows what she wants, and is willing to do anything to get it. Literally anything. She has very strong romantic feelings and when she sees a man she likes, she is not hesitant to "have her way" with him. She is, however, a very shrewd and sly detective, and uses her natural Orion female pheromones to woo suspects into divulging information. She as well is one of the best marksman in Starfleet, and a natural born Security/Tactical officer. Despite the tendency for a bit too many one night stands, Shinga loves unconditionally and easily forgives people for wrong-doings. As well, she is very fashion conscientious. She has to have her uniform, nails, lipstick, and hair exactly right before she will go on duty. |

| Personal History | Shinga was born in an orphanage on Orion in the month of February. She would grow up there, never knowing any of her family. She would often dream of having a family, what their names were, what they were doing right now, and many other such fantasies. Not knowing where she came from made Shinga insecure and self-conscious. This made it harder for her to fit in with the other children of the orphanage. Soon, she would learn of her mother. Lieutenant Dillna Thrax was KIA in 2374 when she saved 20 lives during a Jem'Hadar attack on her ship, the USS Jefferson. This finally gave Shinga a purpose, and from then on, she would train and focus solely on becoming a Starfleet officer. At 16, she was lucky enough to find a sponsor for the Academy in the former Stellar Cartographer of the USS Jefferson who had been friends with her mother. Having studied hard, Shinga had no problem graduating in four years. She was then posted as the Assistant Chief Security/Tactical Officer on the USS Archimedes. After serving on it for four years and receiving the rank of Lieutenant JG, Shinga has transferred to the USS Orion. |
