Personal History Born on Andoria, Lilliana was raised by her biological mother and adoptive father for most of her formative years. Growing up around Andorian and Aenar children, Lilliana, who shortened her name to Lily, always found it strange that she didn't have antenna like the other children and she was often teased about it by some of the other children. However, she managed to find a small group of friends who accepted her and helped her to defend herself against the bullying.

On her 16th birthday, Lily's parants sat her down and explained to her that she wasn't completely Aenar by birth, but was half human. Coming as a shock to her, Lily couldn't believe what she was hearing, but after a few months and a great deal of support from both her family and friends, she found a way to accept what she truly was.

Around the time she turned 18, Lily started studying to enter the Andorain Navy. Although her marks were promising, they didn't quite meet the high standards set against her. After three failed attempts, her mother suggested that she look into joining Starfleet instead. Thinking it over for almost a week, Lily agreed to give it a shot.

Passing the exam on her first attempt, Lily was about to accept her spot in the Academy when she found out about Starfleet's Marine Corp Academy. Quickly changing her application, Lily was accepted and began her Marine Corp career.
Education Andorian schooling

Marine Corp Academy graduate
Service Record Lily found the training at the Marine Corp Academy to be rather intense and yet enjoyable. She believed she had found her path in life and wholeheartedly dove into it. During her second year, Lily made a discovery that would change her life forever. While looking through the hall of fame for the Academy, Lily came across a plaque for the best long range sniper shot, the Marine Corp Wimbledon cup. Among the winners, one name jumped out at her, Cameron Bourne.

Quickly looking up his record, his image was almost a perfect match for the image of her biological father that her mother had shown her. Looking through Cameron's family records, she found the name of her father right where she thought she would. Lily had just found her Half-Brother. This inspired her to push herself further and by the time she graduated, she was already a 1st Lieutenant and was assigned to Starbase 24.

Over the next several years, Lily bounced from starbase to starbase, learning what she could from her unit CO's about her half brother and what it meant to be a Starfleet Marine Officer. Finally her chance came to prove herself. Given command of an away team, Lily was assigned to infultrated and eliminate a know Maquis safe house in a nearby star system. Initially, her plans for the attack ran smoothly, the team got into the facility without fuss. However, the tip that the station had recieved was a trap set by the Maquis cell so that they could capture a cardassian cargo frigate they had been tracking for months.

Bearly getting her team out of the Maquis trap alive, Lily quickly lead her team back to the station in an attempt to stop the cell from achieving their goals, but by the time they returned, the station was on reserve power and the frigate was gone.

It took Lily several years to rebuild her own self confidence, choosing to let others lead missions in place of her. She didn't trust in her own ability to lead after what she thought she let happen. Her saving grace finally came when she heard that the cell was back in the area. Begging her CO to let her take the lead again, Lily created three seperate plans and two contingencies for this engagement. It went off like clockwork and her team captured the terrorists and returned heroes.

Recieveing an accomodation for her work, Lily was transferred to the USS Calypso as their new Marine Detatchment Commander.
