| Personal History | Antony Benge was born October 31, to a Starfleet Pilot by the name of Candace Benge. She didn't know who the father was, having been attacked on an away mission to a penal colony. Their Captain had been accused and locked away without trial, and his crew had come back to rescue them. Candace was removed from Starfleet for taking part in a later mission to dispose the Commodore who had framed their Captain. Bitter from being made a scape goat, Candace preached her son into believing the evil Starfleet did, and they moved off world and away from the Federation. At six, Antony was helping his mother Pirate from federation vessels and learning how to escape bulky Federation attack ships. Thinking they must be part of the Maquis, Starfleet Command sent out four Defiant class starships to secure the "Maidens Revenge" from Candace and Antony. The child survived the attacks from the ships, his mother did not. Taken to a prison island on Earth for helping his Mother in piracy, Shade, as he now became known, was soon taught how to escape, evade, attack and survive from other prisoners. Twelve long years Shade sat in that penal island, learning everything he could until they released him. Walking the streets for the first time, he didn't know what to think, where to go, how to get there. Shade found himself in a Starfleet Recruiters office. Realising that he wouldn't be able to buy a ship of his own to start a shipping company in his mothers name, Antony joined. As he made his way through the academy, the Doctors found two DNA streams in him, one that was pure human, and a second that allowed him to change facial and bodily features at will if he could be taught how to do it. He was transferred from piloting school into Intelligence where he found an aptitude at Infiltration. But he still hasn't learned to control his body, and cannot as of yet change himself perfectly. |
