A Sad Milestone

It was August 31, 2009 that the USS Orion launched. We just passed the year and a half mark.

The end of this month (March 31) will be the one year anniversary of the USS Calypso.

In some ways it's hard to believe it's been a whole year. I've really loved COing this ship and this crew.

For most of the past year-and-a-half, Cole has been my right hand. He's been involved in all aspects of story creation from brainstorming to plot developing to writing. Right now he's having some real life issues and has gone on ELOA.

It's strange to think of celebrating the ship's anniversaries without him. He's a big part of what makes the Calypso such a great sim. I, for one, am going to miss him terribly.

Cole, on behalf of myself and the entire crew, I hope that you come back to us soon.
