Reaching a Milestone

On August 31, 2009, the USS Orion began its first mission under the command of Captain James Montgomery.

On December 10th, the Orion officially helped form Theta Fleet, along with the USS Endeavor (now retired) and Starbase Typhon.

In February of 2010, he officially stepped down and gave command to the Chief Science Officer, a Lieutenant by the name of Samantha York. (The XO already had a sim and didn't want to run two sims.)

In March of that year, the USS Orion was infested by a horde of loose ghezunes that destroyed the wiring, sending the ship into dry dock for lengthy repairs.

Sam was given command of a new Galaxy class Starship named the USS Calypso.

And here we are, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the sim.

We've slowed down a lot lately, and that's mostly due to real life responsibilities, but I'm going to move things along next week and hope you can help us keep the stories going.
