Mission Update

Hi, everyone!

Happy Memorial Weekend to those in the US!

Here's what's going on with the mission:

We have a lovely new restaurant on deck 20 called Bazinga's. Check it out and say hi to our new lounge manager, Gaia. (She LOVES to write, so please keep her busy!)

We've also made some changes to the other lounges. Deck 4 is the Parrot Bar. It's primarily for pilots (which we don't use right now as we have no CAG).

Deck 10 is now "Cousteau's Grotto." It's still Ten Forward, but with a little change.

Deck 15 is now Davy Jones' Locker. It's the enlisted lounge and Marine hangout.

And on deck 42 we have a new little place called "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe." A large viewscreen along one wall gives the impression that you're watching matter being sucked into a black hole and other cool stellar phenomenon.

As for the mission itself, those who are telepathic and empathic will now be noticing something odd. Telepaths will feel like they're being watched and hear dark, angry thoughts. Sam has already begun to sense that there might be someone or someTHING on board. Empaths are HUNGRY. You'll get feelings of hunger, anger and a number of dark emotions. Have some fun with that.

For everyone, we're about a week into the nightmares, in game. Everyone but our lovely counselor is suffering from some form of sleep deprivation and nightmares. Do a tag that lets everyone know what's going on with your character. Nightmares are getting darker and we're all affected by teh lack of sleep.

Science has been asked to search the ship for any anomalous readings (Marcus). Medical has a lot of sleep-related problems. Security and Marines will have some behavioral problems. Engineering, have some fun.

I would like us to start figuring this out. There is an entity on board that is causing the nightmares and then feeding off them. Once we realize that it's here, we'll have to figure out how to get rid of it.
