Mission Update

Hi, everyone!

Here's an update on what's going on.

The Bridge Team made contact with the survivors of the Columbia. Thanks to Austin, that post is going well. Part 2 will be posted this week and we'll start a JP in the caves.

The Engineering Team is going slowly. Austin (thanks again!) is playing an NPC. Doc Renfroe is treating the hysterical survivor. After this post, the team will either join the Bridge Team or the Sickbay Team.

The Sickbay Team. They are currently locked in sickbay. The doors are sealed and they can't override the computers. So, they wait for someone to rescue them.

The Calypso. Vance has "drafted" Helga Lowe as a Borg Infiltrator. The two of them will begin to "conscript" other crew members.

Crew Notes:

Departures:
Todd (Patrick O'Dell) left the Calypso due to work constraints. He hoped things would slow down, but it's been four months and it doesn't look like he'll be having any time to sim this year. We wish him luck!
Adam (T'Lada) also left the sim. He didn't feel comfortable playing a science officer. He has long been one of the key players on the sim. He will be missed.

LOAs:
Several crew are on LOA.
Alexandra Vance (until 5 October)
Damon Raine (indefinite)
Jourdan Abbott (hopefully the 26th)
Leanne Bowen (unknown)

MIA:
I haven't heard from Leo Mangalia or Cameron Bourne in a while. Not sure what's going on with them. If any of you know them in RL, let them know they're missed.

Recovering:
Voz (Damion Wolfe) was in the hospital last week. He's home recovering from a stomach problem. We wish him a speedy recovery!

As for the rest of the crew, we're going to march forward and have some fun! If you have ideas or suggestions, please use the OOC Mission Discussion.

I'm very pleased with how things are going so far. I look forward to seeing what we all come up with for this mission! There's a lot of room for individual stories and for ideas. You are all welcome to help shape this mission!
